Webcomic Update - Doggie Dialog :O

Get the new comic page here.

Readers are such smart people. They can see through clichés and old tricks. Many a times, I find myself having to change the turn of events in ROMB to avoid getting myself stuck with a popular but overused plot. Who wants to tell a predictable story, where the readers already can obviously foresee what will happen to who, who will end up with who, and so on? *shudder* NOT me. But when I'm using a cliché, I make sure I do it better, give it more depth, and not use it as the main plot. Total suspension of belief, if I don't do that.

So I used Rudi's pic in the comic page. Yes, I admit I can't get over him. But isn't he adorable? The Doggie Dialog apparatus looks like some metallic monochrome nipples stuck on his head. Lame, but it was a flash of inspiration. With VR prevalent in ROMB, I'm sure fanciful stuff like this are not uncommon for the pet enthusiasts. Anyhow, I don't imagine it's anything too hightech or accurate. Maybe it measures and compares hardcoded brainwaves or neural activity with hardcoded patterns in the machine, then the fortune-cookie shaped thingie on the dog collar fires out monosyllabic droid-like words that matches. Not exactly farfetched, huh? :D

But still, strapping it on your adoring mutt is one thing. What about horny little humping lapdogs. You don't want to hear licentious canine thoughts. Really.

RIghto. So it's off to the Karaoke I go today. I'll try not to take too long a break before the next page. :D

which i why i usually will not comment on your storylines. too much of a tendency to be an idiot and give advice to someone who is obviously very capable of making something more interesting on her own.
