On Moons and Laps and Nokia phones

I just got back from lunch of chap fan (mixed rice) with the boyfriend. He is back from Brunei to attend a meeting and workshop in Berjaya Times Square later after lunch today, and we were talking about the roads to get there from Damansara.

Being unfamiliar with the roads in the KL area, he was pretty confused with the direction and landmarks I mentioned. So we settled for the route through Jln Tun Perak - Jln Pudu - Jln Imbi to reach Times Square. While discussing about several major landmarks in Jln Tun Perak, I mentioned that he should be able to see the mahkamah (HighCourt) on his right. A look descended the boyfriend's face and he confidently said the mahkamah is not on his right, but on his left. So we argued for awhile:

Me : *sneers* Eh, I'm damn sure it's on the right lah! I'm so sure I'll bet anything on it! Just name it!
BF : Really?! Me also very sure it's on the left. Okay, what you wanna bet?
Me : Anything. You sure you wanna bet? If like I'm right ah, then you buy me the Nokia 6170. Hahahaha!
BF : Ok! Ok! What if I'M right?
Me : If you're right ah? I buy you the damn phone lah....but you have to gimme your 6110 woh...
BF : Eh, where got like that?! No..no..IF you lose, you'll have to abc123 me everyday.
Me : WHat?! Aiyer...that all you ever think of!?!
BF : So how? On or not?
Me : *thinks to self* (actually if he goes back to Brunei I dont have to abc123 him daily lah! I profiting from this, man!)
Me : Ahaha! You're on! You die ler!!!!

And so it is. After lunch, we went off on our way. Fifteen minutes later, I got a SMS. I know the boyfriend actually reach Jln Tun Perak already and realised that the mahkamah is in fact (and has always been) on his right. WAHA HA HA!

I called him, and confirmed that we're going cellphone shopping tonight. If this is not the moon falling on my lap, I don't know what is. *smirks*
